Welcome to Daysi Bilingual Family Child Care, our guiding principle is rooted in the Reggio Emilia approach—an inquiry-driven model that views children as inherently capable learners. We believe in nurturing each child’s sense of wonder, creativity, and competence through purposeful, collaborative experiences. Recognizing that language is a powerful medium for exploration, we seamlessly blend English and Spanish into daily routines and learning projects, encouraging children to form meaningful connections across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
Daysi Caridad, is the founder of Daysi Bilingual Family Child Care, she has been dedicated to working with children from a young age. Starting as a volunteer at just thirteen years old in her home country of the Dominican Republic, Daysi has always had a passion for supporting children's growth and development. She later worked with Save The Children International, where she helped provide education, nutrition, and health services to families in need. After moving to Boston, Daysi was inspired by a friend to pursue her dream of starting a family child care business. She enrolled in Urban College and earned her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, furthering her commitment to nurturing young minds. Today, Daysi continues to empower children and families through her bilingual child care services, creating a safe, supportive, and educational environment for all.
About Us
Daysi Bilingual Family Child Care is where immersive language exploration and child-centered pedagogy converge to nurture inquisitive, empathetic, and confident learners! Situated in Hyde Park, our licensed Spanish Immersion program has thrived under the guidance of professionals boasting over 21 years of dedicated experience in early childhood education.
From Infant Care (0–12 months) and Toddler Care (12–36 months) to Pre-K for three- and four-year-olds, we support children’s academic and developmental milestones every step of the way. Anchored in a play-based approach that marries structured learning with joyful discovery, our curriculum integrates English–Spanish bilingual immersion to spark curiosity and foster cross-cultural understanding. Whether through indoor explorations or outdoor adventures, we hold safety and well-being as paramount, maintaining CPR and First Aid certifications and offering nutritious meals tailored to growing minds.
Open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., we strive to provide families with a consistent, high-caliber home-based child care environment. Thank you for considering Daysi Family Child Care as the starting point of your child’s educational journey.
